My day started when my alarm went off at 6:30 this morning and I
- Dumbbell Pullovers 3 sets x 15 reps
- Barbell Row 3 sets x 15 reps superset with Overhead Press 3 sets x 12 reps
- Back Extensions (with 10 lb plate) 3 sets x 15 reps
- Lying Dumbbell Press 3 sets x 15 reps
- Pec Flyes (machine) 3 sets x 15 reps
- 20 minutes on the Stairmaster
Then I rushed home and used this stuff to make a very unphotogenic pita to take for lunch:
|Turkey, sprouts, garlic hummus, cucumber and avocado on a whole wheat pita|
I also threw together a spinach salad. I seriously eat these almost every day. I don't know what I'm going to do when I get sick of them because they are pretty much my only source of veggies at the moment.
|Spinach with walnuts, sunflower seeds, dried cherries, and tomato basil feta|
Plus yogurt. That Stonyfield kind that I had today is something new that I decided to try and I wasn't a huge fan. The organic label drew me in, but I'm not sure that I'll be buying it again. Activia just tastes so much better.
Then I headed out the door and worked 10 to 6:30 at the pharmacy. To say we were busy would be an understatement. Normally we fill 400-500 prescriptions per day, but when I left at 6:30 they were well on their way to 600 (about 570) and there were still 2.5 hours left in the day. Crazy!
After work I rushed home and inhaled a bowl of homemade white chicken chili that Mom made plus 2 pieces of the best corn bread ever (left over and frozen from Christmas) and then hit the road again to head to the ski slopes. I finally got to try out my new skiis that I got for Christmas!
Now, I wanted you to be able to get the full experience of my first time down the hill on my new skiis, so I had dad take a video :) Enjoy!
Almost had a collision there at the end!
My skiis worked great and I had an awesome time skiing with my dad and sister, even though it was only for an hour.
Well I'm off to catch up on blogs and then get some Zzzzzz's. Have a great night!
P.S. Tomorrow I have a great day planned with the lovely Melissa. Let's just say it involves running and wine :) I can't wait!!
