Dragon for Dinner

Happy Thursday everyone! Only one more day until the weekend :)

I worked from 8-4 today, like I usually do on Thursdays. Packed this salad for lunch:

Along with this slice of leftover pineapple pizza that I made earlier this week, which looks not-so-appetizing because it's cold and leftover but I promise it was good:

Work was slow and it made the day drag, which stunk today because I had big plans after work with a pretty awesome chica ;)

Jenny and I have been friends since high school:

Over the last couple years, we have managed to see each other about once a month on average between the long distance and our busy school schedules. She moved to Minneapolis in December for a short period but she's back in the mitten now! We made plans ASAP.

We never get together in Grand Rapids without having dinner at XO Asian Cuisine. It's a tradition!

I ordered my usual, starting with wonton soup and veggie spring rolls:

I had a special surprise though when they brought out my Green Dragon Roll!

It was actually in the shape of a dragon! I loved how the sushi chef gave it eyes and everything. He must have known I was going to come home and blog about it ;)

It tasted as amazing as it looked :)

We picked up some dessert on the way home...

Which I enjoyed while twittering and watching last night's I Used To Be Fat.

Don't judge me.

Jenny certainly didn't.

Well I'm off to catch up on blogs until it's time for Grey's!

Have you ever been surprised (in either a good or bad way) by how your food looked when it was brought to you at a restaraunt?

What are your plans for the weekend? I hope they include delicious food and good friends :)
