After yesterday's epic run, we hit the road for Easter dinner at my aunt's house. One of the things that I am looking forward to most about moving back home this summer is the gorgeous view of the Traverse City bay. Courtney was put in charge of camera duty on the way over.
Um, hello. I asked you to take pictures of the bay! :)
Once we made it to my aunt's house, it was almost time to eat so they kept appetizers simple:
I wasted no time diving into the deviled eggs.
And then proceeded to capure every moment I possibly could on camera.

Soon, it was time to feast!
My plate included salad, ham, potato casserole, pasta salad, and a roll:
Yesterday was actually a double celebration because in addition to Easter, it was also my Grandpa's birthday! My aunt made a classic Easter carrot cake per his request:
Even after all these months, my dad still gets a kick out of me taking pictures of my food all the time.
Time to light the candles!
Happy birthday, Grandpa!
I had this plate, plus
one two more slivers of cake. It was delicious!
Another great Easter down in the books :)
This morning I had a pharmacoeconomics final (um, let's not talk about it) and then afterwards I hit the gym. I did this treadmill work-out that I'm pretty sure I stole from Fitnessista at some point:
And finished up with 20 minutes on the ellipitical. My stomach was GROWLING by the time I was done! I came home and threw and an english muffin pizza and some broccoli in the oven, jumped in the shower, and lunch was ready in 10 minutes by the time I was done:
So easy and so delicious (minus the broccoli part!).
I'm off to get some work done before I meet up with Jenny tonight!
What's the best thing you had to eat yesterday?
That carrot cake I had wins by a long shot!
