- 1/3 cup oats
- 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1 T cashew butter
- 1/2 banana (mashed)
- splash of milk
- small handful of walnuts
After that I moved from the breakfast bar to the couch and....read more blogs. For like, 2 hours. Is that bad?
Eventually, I got up and did a 30 minute Step Aerobic work-out followed by 30 minutes on the stationary bike and then I gobbled up some lunch.
Salad and leftover chicken. Not very exciting, but it worked.
I spent the rest of my afternoon playing around on the computer and napping (seriously, could I get any more lazy?!) and then decided enough was enough. It was sunny outside, 50 degrees, and there was no reason why I shouldn't be heading out the door to enjoy the nice weather (especially when it was snowing yesterday!) Originally, I planned on going on a nice walk around the neighborhood but then I decided that I really should just suck it up and go for a run. It's been weeks since I've had a good run outside, and with a 10K coming up in less than a month, I need to start building up my endurance again!
I ended up running 3.0 miles in 32:37. Not very impressive for me, considering the fact that I ran my 5K last month in the same time.
Regardless of my time, I still got out there and hit the pavement and I did run the whole three miles without stopping to walk once, which is always an achievement :)
I got home just in time for dinner: Semi-homemade Hawaiian pizza on organic pizza crust!
SO. FREAKIN. GOOD.
I could eat this every day and be happy.
OH! You might be wondering about the title of this post. Remember a couple months ago when I said that I was going to master the headstand? Well...
I could chill like that all day. :)
