Restorin’ Those Nutrients

Today was spent relaxing and trying to cram as many nutrients into my body as I could, since I most certainly did not get many yesterday. Some of my eats included oatmeal:


  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • dried cherries
  • cinnamon
  • cashews
  • 2 Tbsp PB

Plus the typical turkey sammie on an Everything Bagel Thin:


And salad:


(spinach, strawberries, walnuts, feta)


I’ve heard that going to the beach is a great hangover cure as well ;) What, you haven’t heard that? Weird.



I spent the afternoon soakin’ up some rays with my sister :)


And just to make sure I got in my exercise for the day..


Haha. Don’t worry, I only did that one lunge. I just like to do stupid things in public and get pictures of it for the blog. The things I do for you guys ;)

(Speaking of doing things for you guys, after the beach I hit up a couple of stores to buy some things for an awesome giveaway going up tomorrow :) You won’t wanna miss this one!)


Dinner was mom’s homemade “sour cream” enchiladas (which were actually made with fat-free Greek yogurt instead of sour cream) with refried beans and corn on the cob on the side.




Ashley got jealous that we were all out having fun on the deck after dinner so we let her join us :D


Oh, and you don’t have to say it. I already know that you’re jealous of my stylish T-shirt and basketball shorts.


Well, rumor on the street is that a Dairy Lodge run is in store for tonight, so you know where I’ll be :)
