*yawn* Boy oh boy am I sleepy! I definitely did not go to bed early enough last night, and after an early wake up call today followed by eight hours at my rotation and topped with a butt-kicking leg workout at the gym this afternoon I am so ready to just pass out. My rotation went well today, but it is going to be a LOT of work. I haven’t really done too much yet since we’re still in the orientation phase of everything. Tomorrow on the agenda is lots of computer work and some kinetics training, which hopefully won’t be too bad.
After I got home from my rotation, I immediately had a quick snack:

And then I hit the gym. I ran 2.0 miles on the treadmill and then did this leg routine:
I went back to the basics with this workout and did some leg exercises that I haven’t done in a long time. I just wanted something totally different from what I’ve been doing with no crazy supersets or weird sets/reps/rest numbers. Don’t get me wrong, it was still plenty tough and I’ll be surprised if I’m not sore tomorrow!
When I finished my workout, my stomach started to bother but I didn’t think much of it. I met up with Elly at Bubba’s for some dinner and for some silly reason, I ordered a seafood quesadilla.
Um, remember what happened the last time I ordered a seafood quesadilla? I was up all night sick in the bathroom. Well, apparently I didn’t learn my lesson and guess what? I felt sick almost immediately after eating this. I ate just over half of it, but that was plenty to send me running to the bathroom when I got home. Note to self: Seafood quesadillas will make you ill.
And on that note, I’m going to go finish a few things for my rotation and call it an early night. You can probably expect future blog posts to come at night for the next couple months, because with a 7:00 am start time from here on out, there is no way that early morning posts are going to happen
