Heeey! I’ve been quite productive on the school front this week. Yesterday I had a formal case presentation on asthma, then last night I finished my first draft of my clinical seminar paper, and today was my last day of my internal medicine rotation! Internal medicine is arguable the most difficult rotation, so it feels so good to have done right away. Only four rotations and seven months to go until I’m a pharmacist .
So my next rotation is an academic rotation down in Grand Rapids. Basically, we’ll be working with one of the associate professors who teaches at the College of Pharmacy. I’m not entirely sure what kind of projects/assignments this rotation will entail, but I’m sure I’ll be posting about it . Oh! Wanna know the best part about having this rotation?
I have it with this guy:
That’s right, Eric and I somehow both ended up with the exact same elective rotation with the same professor during the same month. So you know what that means…
Krista’s moving back to Grand Rapids . Unfortunately it’s only for a month, but I’m pretty stoked to be roomies with Eric again. However, unlike the last time we lived together when we shared a three bedroom townhouse, this month we’ll be squashing together in his tiny studio apartment.
It’s fine for just one person, but it’ll definitely be a tight squeeze for the two of us. I’m sure we’ll have a good time though. Eric’s crazy about Halloween and we already have tickets to a haunted corn maze and a haunted house (thanks to some Groupons!) that we’ll be visiting this month, so I’m pretty excited about that.
After I got unpacked and settled, I ran over to Wendy’s to grab some dinner since Eric had already eaten and I didn’t feel like cooking anything.
For the record, Wendy’s Apple Pecan Chicken Salad takes the cake for best fast food salad EVER. I could seriously eat this every. single. day.
Another reason I’m excited about living with Eric is that I know we’ll be working out together again and he always pushes me at the gym. In fact, we didn’t waste a second and actually got to work right away. He recently started doing a short little routine that he does every morning when he wakes up and every evening right before bed that looks like this:
- 20 bicep curls
- 20 push-ups
- 20 crunches on the decline bench
He does this right in his apartment so guess who will be joining him every day for these “mini” workouts?
Yikes. Look at that muffin top! I definitely need those extra workouts .
Well I’m off to await the arrival of our guests who are joining us for the night. Eric's sister and her boyfriend will be here any minute and then tomorrow we’re all going to Cedar Point for the weekend!! I CAN’T WAIT .
Have a good evening and I’ll see ya later!
