I generally try to keep my blog a very positive place, despite what’s going on in my personal life (even though most of my personal life is displayed right on the blog anyways). This usually isn’t very difficult for me because I am typically a pretty happy person.
I am very conscious of the attitude I exhibit in my posts because I don’t particularly enjoy reading other blogs where the writer frequently portrays a negative attitude or complains a lot, so I don’t want that on my blog. However, sometimes it gets hard to always act happy-go-lucky when in reality, I’m kind of down and in the dumps. Everyone gets down sometimes, and lately it’s been hitting me. I’m hoping that this is just kind of a phase that will pass by, and I’ll be back to my normal self soon. Having things to look forward to really helps lift my spirits, and I have some fun weekend plans coming up so that should definitely help.
Alright, I do apologize for that mopey introduction, but I just had to get it off my chest. Besides, you all know that honesty is another thing you can expect to find on my blog, and that’s just what’s been going on lately. But, let’s move onto something a little happier, like food!
When I got back after work last night I discovered an open jar of cashews in the cupboards and accidently ate about a quarter of the container.
Since I was full from cashews, I told myself if I got hungry again I was going to eat a salad.
Well, then I wanted pizza.
And I proceeded to eat half of it while watching the rest of this week’s episode of Biggest Loser (I was too tired to make it through the whole thing when it was live).
Let’s not forget about the other mindless grazing in the kitchen that occurred during the night as well.
It was just one of those nights.
I didn’t sleep very well last night either, so I skipped this morning’s workout in favor of sleeping in an extra hour and 40 minutes.
Although I didn’t actually eat the yogurt because I got distracted by a phone call while I was eating. As a result, I was hungry about an hour and a half later and inevitably found myself snacking on pieces of doughnuts that were in the break room. Nice.
Okay, time to go eat a salad for real.
