Reasons why today was awesome:
I woke up to this beautiful sight outside:
I managed to get my butt out of bed at the crack of dawn to hammer out a 3.0 mile run in 32:30. My whole grain toast that I ate late last night may have come back to haunt me, but it was totally worth it .
In honor of the snow, breakfast was served on my new snowflake placemat that I’m sorta kinda in love with:

My hair was actually cooperating with me today when I curled it
And lastly, I successfully survived eleven hours at work (yes, eleven! ‘Twas a long day) and I managed to maintain a positive attitude the whole time
even with all the crazy, screaming customers. I also packed some good work food:

Reasons why today was not so awesome:
Last week: 180.0
My weight’s been up and down all week. The day after my weigh-in last week, it shot up to 181.5 for no reason (eating was spot on) and stayed there for a couple days. I blame it on the period – I always put on a couple pounds the week before and then drop it the week of/the week after. Then it dropped back down to 180.5, and back up to 181, and back down again. Of course it always comes down to food, and I just can’t seem to tame my sweet tooth. I did say I was aiming for either a loss of no change every week and that gains were not an option, so this is not acceptable. I expect it to be gone next week .
Well, I guess I don’t have any other reasons why today was not so awesome, because it was a pretty darn good day. The fact that I can sit here and say that after eleven hours on my feet arguing with insurance companies and customers is awesome in itself.
